Network Events
Highlighting unexpected events such as major virus that may impact core network performance such as temporary latency.
Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at approximately 11AM (CST) - Due to a hardware failure of one of our SAN storage controllers our VMware environment was degraded making servers unreachable. There was a delay in the failover to the redundant controller due to a faulty drive array. US Internet makes every effort to eliminate issues through pro-active measures which also includes redundancy of critical core infrastructure systems. We are now taking further pro-active steps by splitting some servers from VMware so they are completely independent of the VMware systems as well as addressing the hardware issues we encountered.
