Jean Baptiste Chevalier: (1677-1752)
Jean was the son of Joseph Chevalier & Marthe Francoise Barton, born in Montreal. He married Marie-Francoise, the daughter of Charles Alavoine & Marie Theresa Machard, at Montreal in 1709. Their children were M.Charlotte (b.1710)(m.Antoine Deshetries in 1729), M.Anne (b.1712)(m.Charles Chaboillez in 1735), Catherine (b.1714), Michel Jean (b.1715), M.Joseph (b.1718), M.Constance (bapt.1719)(m.1st.Joseph Hains/Ainse in 1741 & 2nd.Francois Louis Cardin in 1751), Louise Therese (bapt.1720), Marguerite Louise (b.1720), Josephte Marguerite (bapt.1723)(m. Pierre Grignon in 1738), M.Madeleine (bapt.1724)(m.Jacques Durnay Demers in 1744), Anne Charlotte (bapt.1726)(m. Rene Bourassa in 1744), Charles (bapt.1727), Joseph Maurice (bapt.1728), Louis Pascal (bapt.1730), Anne Therese (bapt.1732), Angelique (bapt.1733)(m.1st.Antoine Nicolas Lauzon & 2nd.Louis Casse dit St.Aubin) & Luc (bapt.1735).
By 1719 Jean & Marie-Francoise had moved to Michilimackinac where their children grew to adulthood & married. Through these marriages many fur trading alliances were formed.

Louis Pascal Chevalier: (bapt.1728-d.before 1779)
Louis was the son of Jean Bte.Chevalier & Marie-Francoise Alavoine, baptized at Michilimackinac. He married Marie-Madeleine Reaume some time after 1750. Marie-Madeleine was the widow of Augustin l'Archevesque, who during the 1740's was hiring voyageur's for Michilimackinac & "poste de Ilinois".  Louis was a brother-in-law to traders Charles Chaboillez,  Joseph Ainse & Rene Bourassa.
